The Horse Association of Kenya (HAK) was created in 1987 through the amalgamation of the Horse Society of Kenya (HSK) and the Show Jumping Association of Kenya (SJAK).
The HAK covers showing, dressage, show jumping and cross country eventing and is a purely amateur association run by volunteers. Inevitably, the Association and it’s Competitions and trainings are guided by established rules, management and technical systems. Please do not be put off by our “rules and regulations” and do not be afraid to ask for advice. That is what we are here for and we are happy to help.
Likewise, please do not be shy when asked to help at a shows and other activities – it all adds up to further understanding and enjoyment of our sport; all contributions are gratefully received and acknowledged!
