Tack and various other equipment can be bought new and second hand from Tack Rack. Tack Rack also repair tack and will make certain items, such as blankets and numnahs.  Some tack is sold privately from time to time and will be advertised in the HAK Classifieds or on the board at the HAK office. Buckets, scoops, feed bins and other stable equipment can be found at many local shops.

Our members often bring out specialists in tack fitting and will usually be happy to share so that costs can be spread. Notices of experts coming out will go out through the HAK mailing list.

Tack requirements and allowances for the various disciplines at shows can be found in the HAK Rulebook, which you will be given when becoming a member of the HAK. It is recommended to consult either the rulebook on allowed tack, or to ask any of our Office Bearers if matters are not clear.
